100 supervised practical hours with real clients under the guidance of experienced supervisors.
Ready to Practise
Upon successful completion of the programme, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, proof of your 100 supervised practical counselling hours, the required ASCHP referral form(s), and guidance throughout your ASCHP registration process.

About the founder, lecturer & supervisor
I’m Mienke van Niekerk, a Specialist Wellness Counsellor (ASCHP) and Certified Supervisor. When I completed my psychology studies, I realised how difficult it was to bridge the gap between university and real counselling practice.
That’s why I founded The Praxis Institute.
At Praxis, you’re not just completing practical hours. You’re learning how to think, work and grow as a counsellor. My aim is that, by the end of the programme, you’ll feel confident stepping into practice and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
